Who are we?
The Equatoguinean Cultural Centre is an institution for the exhibition and dissemination of the traditions and customs of the peoples of Equatorial Guinea. Its mission is to serve as a link with all artistic creations for their public display in society. That is why it serves as a platform for all national and international artists for the success of each of them, a project conceived by the government of the nation to develop the artistic part of national, such as: music, sculptures, dances, paintings, beliefs, rites, customs and literature.
Therefore, from the general direction of Cultural Centers, Cinema and Theater, it is tried that the artists find in it, a space where they can expose and express their artistic talent. This is why, since its inauguration in 2012, many of them has seen their objectives fulfilled.
Entry and closing times
This Equatoguinean Cultural Centre opens its doors from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. It has two shifts: the first, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the last shift from 6 p.m. to 12 p.m.

In Malabo: at Avda. de la Independencia nº 800; in Rebola, the house of culture, entrance to the village.

Our agenda also includes workshops and national language courses, conferences, book presentations, exhibitions of works (painting, sculpture), etc.
The main cultural projects of the institution are: the “interscholastic” contest (an activity that serves to measure the level of knowledge of art and culture to schoolchildren in the country), “Christmas carol contest”, “Youth Gala”, “Ciclo de conferencias”, “edition of the magazine”, “Hip Hop festival”, “ethnic cultural weeks”, “Children’s Sunday”, etc. It also reinforces the content of activities, musical concerts, modern and traditional dance shows, presentation of theatrical works, projection of children’s films, etc.
