Who are we?
We are an institution in which the country’s bibliographic heritage (books, newspapers, magazines, brochures, recordings, etc.) is deposited, collected, preserved and disseminated. Unlike a public library, it is made up of unique and historical collections with restricted access to the general public. And, unlike a National Archive, it does not keep administrative or legal documents or collections of public or private institutions.

Entry and closing times
We open at 9 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. (uninterruptedly).
Where are we?
Right next to The Presidency, in front of the Ceiba Intercontinental building
